We don't make money off our pool heating charge either. If anything, it just helps offset the costs. You just need to communicate to the guests the actual price of heating a pool so they understand you are not just trying to nickel and dime them, and let them know that you don't just flip and switch and the water because magically hot like in a bathtub.
