After a 2 year hiatus, I am back at ABnB hosting out a guest bedroom and bath where I live. I have had about 6 guests so far, booked more than 50% of the time. I am getting long bookings of 4 or even 7 weeks. This is surprising because I was expecting 1-2 nights "in town for a wedding" sort of thing.
I am pretty happy with this, since I am getting more than what I would get from a standard monthly lease. What do other hosts think about this? Am I just filling a gap between normal rentals and hotels? Should I raise my rates to cover weekly housekeeping services or consider turning off the long stay discount?
