A red flag is when they ask how close I am to downtown locations. My neighborhood is described in the listing, distance to downtown, and I’m shown on a map. If the guest can’t manage basic Google map navigation for themselves, they’ll be pretty frustrated trying to get around during the stay. I get dinged for “location” regularly, which is frustrating because they chose the space. I didn’t make them pick the South side of Chicago.
