Anyone used or have any recommendations for a legal firm that is knowledgeable about short term rentals? The property I am considering is in the Akron area. Thank in advance.
Ott & Associates in Cleveland has helped me review some of my documents and papers when I first set up my STR. They are in Cleveland which is close enough to Akron.

I don’t know of any specific firms in Akron, but when I was looking into short-term rentals, I found that it’s really important to go with a law firm that knows the local zoning laws and rental regulations. I ended up going with a firm that specializes in real estate law, and they were able to guide me through the process and make sure everything was above board. I’d also recommend checking reviews or asking around in local groups—sometimes that’s the best way to find someone who knows the ins and outs of short-term rentals in your area.
