How does Aircover work exactly? - toast1 - 02-21-2024

Are damaged towels considered something aircover would cover? Do guests end up having to pay aircover back for the replacement if aircover pays me?

I personally just chalk up damaged towels as a cost of doing business. Unfortunately, I've had a few damaged bath towels ruined because of makeup and now I leave smaller washclothes in the hopes they will use those instead.

Make sure you have records/receipts/proof and aircover will payout. I've had windows replaced, doors and a countertop that was damaged.

Airbnb will ask you to ask the guests to pay. If they decline, escalate an aircover claim and depending on the size and severity, the payout can take a few days to a few weeks. Make sure you have receipts/evidence.

You have a 14 day window to initiate a claim. By initiating a claim, airbnb will first ask you to ask the guest to pay through a request.

Aircover would probably cover, but I would just let it go. I have a whole shelf of these "utility towels' sourced from guests.
