Removal of reviews scam? - mrandroid - 02-14-2025 I recently got a message on Airbnb from a person claiming they can remove any negative review from my Airbnb listings. (we have 1 3 star review and a few 4 stars ) The message asked me to email them with reservation numbers for reservations that have left a negative review. I sent this person an email out of curiosity to see what this was all about and they claimed they could remove reviews from any of my listings for $60. They claim that you do not pay until the reviews have been removed. Has anyone else seen this? RE: Removal of reviews scam? - gardenranger - 02-14-2025 There are other threads out there where people have reported success with this. What it likely is is a CS support agent in India who is doing this as a side hustle. You're $60 is probably way more than they make in a day. RE: Removal of reviews scam? - nflation - 02-14-2025 How did they actually approach you through airbnb? I was not aware you can just send messages. It was through a booking inquiry.
